Digital Dish Diva says: Welcome to MSN Live! Tonight we are pleased to welcome to MSN Live, Amanda Foreman who stars in the WB hit series, Felicity. Amanda, welcome back to MSN Live!

Amanda Foreman says: Hi everybody!

Digital Dish Diva says: Let's start with the audience questions!

Digital Dish Diva says: Guest_bee Says: Amanda, do you love working with Greg Grunberg as much as he obviously loves working with you?

Amanda Foreman says: Yes, I do. He's extremely funny and he's always in a good mood. He's also a great actor.

Digital Dish Diva says: Sniglet_FFF Asks: Will Meghan become more religious now that Sean has shown a renewed interest in Judaism because of his health scare?

Amanda Foreman says: Meghan is a Wiccan. She's a witch, so Judeo-Christian don't have any effect on her, so no.

Digital Dish Diva says: Destiny_535 Says: Have you ever done any real witchcraft?

Amanda Foreman says: I wish I could say yes. I wish I knew how, but I don't and I haven't.

Digital Dish Diva says: AussieGal28 Asks: How are you Amanda? Meghan is a great character, though she has changed a lot. Do you prefer playing the 'old Meghan' or the 'new Meghan'? Thanks!

Amanda Foreman says: First of all, I'm fine, thanks! I think it's all the same Meghan. They're just showing different sides to the character and as an actress, I enjoy that. But to me it's all the same person, just different layers.

Digital Dish Diva says: Irisgoo Asks: Do you like the fact that your character has become more sympathetic this season?

Amanda Foreman says: Sympathetic is in the eye of the viewer so if the viewers find her sympathetic, that's nice, but I think she's become more richer and it's fun for me to play that more human side to her that tends to make her more sympathetic.

Digital Dish Diva says: shea says: Is Meghan still an RA? Did I miss something?

Amanda Foreman says: No, Meghan is not an RA because she doesn't live in the dorm anymore. I think you have to live in the dorm to be an RA.

Digital Dish Diva says: WantNick Asks: What do you do during down time on the set?

Amanda Foreman says: Depending on who's there in the cast, I just hang around and have fun with the other actors or the crew. If Robert Patrick Benedict is there, then we hang around. I just hang around with everyone from the cast and crew because they are all really fun to hang around with. Or I take a nap. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva says: heatherplays says: Do you personally like any of Meghan's stuff? Clothes? Furniture?

Amanda Foreman says: It's interesting that you ask that because there's a painting hanging in Meghan's room that I love and want to try and steal if I can. (laughs) In terms of clothes, I have actually borrowed single items like a pair of pants here or a shirt there, but never entire outfits though.

Digital Dish Diva says: tasha1_100 Says: Would you like to do movies?

Amanda Foreman says: Yes. If they're good movies or movies that are interesting to me, then sure. Just as much as I'd like to do TV shows that are interesting to me.

Digital Dish Diva says: apryldear Says: What is the hardest thing to get used to when you are a "celebrity" and everyone recognizes you?

Amanda Foreman says: Sometimes people come up to you and they want to talk to you, but they don't have anything to say, so I feel like they're just looking at me and waiting to perform. It's so weird, they just stare at me and it's so unnerving.

Digital Dish Diva says: LadyCree Asks: I guess what I really want to ask is, it is about the box in your room. Was it ever revealed what was in it? If so, I must have missed it, and I never miss Felicity. So let me know. Thanks.

Amanda Foreman says: No, they never did reveal what was in the box and I wish they would pick up that story line because I think it's interesting. Who knows, maybe they will, we still have a few more shows to make this year.

Digital Dish Diva says: Sniglet_FFF Asks: I heard that Greg does a lot of the camera shots for the show now since the WB has cut the budget. Do you feel different in a scene when it's your co-star (and love interest) that's zooming in on you? And how does the rest of the cast react to it?

Amanda Foreman says: (laughs) Greg sometimes holds the video camera when we do video testimonials. He never works the actual big camera. He's not in that union (laughs). But when we do the video segments it's supposed to be Sean anyway, so it feels more natural that way.

Digital Dish Diva says: mjarnold Says: Hi, my question is: How long is a typical day on the set, and do you feel as though it is a very wearing job at times? Thanks.

Amanda Foreman says: A typical day is 12 hours. It's much better this year than it was the first 2 years because they simply don't have the money to go over 12 hours which is good for the actors and crew because they used to go 17 hours sometimes, it was crazy. It can be wearing when you are in every scene or if every scene requires a complete hair, makeup, and wardrobe change. But it's a great job and we all feel lucky to have it.

Digital Dish Diva says: sammi_ny1 Says: What is your advice to your fans who want to live up to their dreams like you someday?

Amanda Foreman says: I guess study acting and be true to what feels right to you. The problem with this question for me is if I had a really good answer I would tell all of my out of work actor friends and we could all work, but acting is either you get the job or you don't and there's so many people trying to get the same job and the odds are tough, but it can be done. There's no one way, or "succeed" you just keep going. I know that answer isn't very good, but I don't have a secret answer, I wish I did.

Digital Dish Diva says: Sniglet_FFF Asks: What really happened to Meghan's wrist? Did she fall down the stairs when she was drunk or was she trying to cover up something?

Amanda Foreman says: (laughs) What really happened was I fell on the set at work and I broke my wrist and I had a cast that was removable so I was able to work without it, but it got to the point where my wrist was really hurting from not wearing the cast and I didn't want to damage it further so the writers wrote it into the script that I fell when I was drunk. So half of it was true, I did fall, but I wasn't drunk. I'm all healed now.

Digital Dish Diva says: °Chibi°Snow°Crystal° Says: Have you ever thought of directing a show?

Amanda Foreman says: No. (laughs) To me at this point in my life directing seems like the biggest pain in the ass job you could have, second only to being president. (laughs) Directing is like being a kindergarten teacher where everyone comes to you with the smallest problems and you have to fix them. And I'm just not ready to deal with that at this point in my life.

Digital Dish Diva says: BabyGrrl Asks: Your sense of style on the show is great. Does it happen to reflect on you outside the show?

Amanda Foreman says: There are little bits of Meghan's wardrobe that also are part of my personal style, but in general, I'm much more low-key as a dresser and less accessorized. Meghan is always loaded down with huge earrings, necklaces, and rings and I don't tend to do that.

Digital Dish Diva says: Guest_bee Says: Will Felicity be back next season? What can fans do to make sure it is?

Amanda Foreman says: That's nice of you to ask and I think the only thing for you to do is to keep watching and maybe write a letter to the network if you're inclined to. If not, just keep watching. That's enough.

Digital Dish Diva says: petergunz911 says: If you had your way would you change your character?

Amanda Foreman says: No. I like what they're doing with the character, I like the way they're exploring her and slowly peeling away layers. I think she's strong and I like that. She can be strident but at the root she's loyal, and I like that.

Digital Dish Diva says: Guest_bee Says: What happened to Meghan's mole people friends? Are Felicity's friends Meghan's friends now?

Amanda Foreman says: I don't know. (laughs) Yes, grudgingly Meghan has taken them on as friends. I think she likes hanging around Felicity so she takes her friends too. And they are also Sean's friends and you know when you're dating someone, you get their friends too.

Digital Dish Diva says: Sandy134734 Says: How did you get introduced to Felicity?

Amanda Foreman says: Matt Reeves had directed a student film a long time ago that he cast me in, so I had known him a long time. And they were doing this pilot and they called me and asked me if I wanted to do a one line walk-on as a crazy Goth roommate and I did. The network liked the idea of that and encouraged them to write more for me so that's how it got going.

Digital Dish Diva says: wannabeaster says: What was you first play or acting gig?

Amanda Foreman says: My first play was in Jr. High and I was in The King and I and I played an Amazon, and I had braces and I was 5 foot 4, but I fit the suit, it was horrible casting. I was literally walking by the wardrobe room and they said "Hey! Maybe you'll fit into this costume" so I was a miscast to the extreme. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva says: Elizabethchase Says: How do you feel about the business side of your job (ie. going to premieres, charity events?)

Amanda Foreman says: I don't mind. My only dilemma is what I am going to wear? Because I don't have millions of dollars or a personal shopper to get me together. But when I do get it together, I can't complain, there's nothing really wrong with it.

Digital Dish Diva says: LIP says: On what day do you film?

Amanda Foreman says: We shoot 5 days a week, but I don't work every day, depending on the story line in a particular episode. Monday through Friday.

Digital Dish Diva says: Intransitive Asks: What was the best moment in Felicity?

Amanda Foreman says: In terms of the most fun to film I would have to say the big group scenes even though they are grueling and take days. It is so fun to have the whole cast in the room, we all get along so well. It makes the time go by quickly. In terms of acting, I liked doing the scene with Greg (Sean) where I tell him I had a nose-job because it brought up my own issues of not being pretty enough, how some girls think they are not pretty enough, and I liked that.

Digital Dish Diva says: I remember that one. You're right. That was great! Amanda, it's been great having you back on! Best of luck with the rest of this season! We hope to see you again soon!

Amanda Foreman says: Thank you so much for watching! You guys ROCK!
