Where we left off: Ben was en route to Kansas City to enroll in an EMT training program, leaving Felicity and Noel in NY for the summer, Elena and Tracey got engaged. What's new: Senior year of college has Felicity trying to figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. "The reality's hit," says exective producer J.J. Abrams. "In nine months she's going to be a college graduate, and she's confronted with the fact that, whether she likes it or not, she's going to have to deal with the transition to adulthood and independence." The close friendship Felicity reestablished with Noel over the summer effects everybody, especially her boyfriend Ben. "This will be by far the most challenging year for [Felicity and Ben] yet," says Abrams. After losing his dot-com position in Seattle, Noel is forced to take an on-campus job that he finds embarrassing. The volatile relationship between Sean and Meghan faces its own obstacles. Who's In: Ian Gomez, who plays coffee-shop manager Javier, becomes a series regular. After a lengthy absence, Amy Jo Johnson returns, reprising her role as Julie. Felicity's cousin and two new freshman roommates (all three still have to be cast) will wreak havoc on Felicity's life. Who's out: Faison is now starring on NBC's Scrubs, but will make occasional appearances on Felicity. Sarah-Jane Potts, who played Molly, will not be returning. Vows: There will be a wedding early in the fourth season, but it might not be the couple viewers expect. Matt says: Has it already been four seasons? Like college life itself, time sure flies when you're having fun. This show graduated long ago to the status of WB's most romantic guilty pleasure. |
