| At 17, Keri Russell is reaching for the stars, and she's not coming up empty-handed. Her dream is to have a long-term
career in acting, and after appearing in her first feature film, a leading role in Walt Disney Pictures' Honey, I Blew
Up the Kids!, she's well on her way.
Now entering her third season as a Mouseketeer, Keri is as ecstatic about being a Mouseketeer as she was in the beginning. "I'm having the time of my life," Keri says, "it's the best learning experience." This Dallas, Texas girl knows how to enjoy life. Going to the movies and the beach, shopping, and barbecuing with mom Stephanie, dad David, brother Todd (20), and sister Julie (14), are just a few of her favorite activities. Keri has also started rollerblading and she loves to rollerblade with her friends. "I don't have to go somewhere to have fun as long as I am with people I like," she explains. Keri chooses friends who are individuals with values in common with her own. Finding sensible friends is the surest way she knows for teens today to avoid negative influences. She is also a conscientious student with a 4.0 average. Keri admires and respects Olympic athletes for their perseverance and determination in reaching their goals. This year, as always, this enthusiastic teen is going for the Gold. |
